This weekend, we celebrated Railguy’s brithday. One of the highlights of the weekend was the birthday cake, baked and decorated by Birdgirl. It featured an imaginative train layout, complete with a a licorice allsort train on grape licorice rails.
All three daughters arrived for a visit and we went out for dinner together. As Birdgirl and Fiddlegirl live several hours distant, they stayed overnight, and we enjoyed a movie together on Sunday. It’s so nice to have everyone visit that it is almost worth getting a year older. Almost.
