Ooo, very poetic! The tree is reaching for a little warmth. I also like the cloud to the left of the tree, arcing to set the sun in a shallow dish. Maybe it’s a sun mutt?
It was an interesting sky, a bit pinkish, which doesn’t really come through in the photo, but no sundog. The tree does indeed seem to be a sun-worshipper.
