Traditionalist Tonka, snoozing in the cat bed.
Cat sleep anywhere,
Any table, any chair,
Top of piano, window-ledge,
In the middle, on the edge.
Open drawer, empty shoe,
Anybody’s lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box,
In the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don’t care!
Cats sleep anywhere.Eleanor Farjeon (1881 – 1965)

Moey, in laundry basket.

Capone, comfy on the back of the chesterfield.

Arthur, on camp chair.

Momcat, on chair back.

Mikey, snoozing on porch rafter.
But when you get right down to it, there’s nothing like piling on Mom for sleeping.
Yikes they must be heavy and yes I have the same thing. Sometimes I wake on the couch after an evening nap only to find myself weighed down by 7 or 8 furry bodies.
Seven or Eight! You must be a very comfortable person, Momcat!
You are definitely a cat person!!! This brought a smile to my day. 🙂
Thanks, Ellen. It’s nice to be able to share their cute little selves via the blog. : )
One of the things I admire most about cats is their ability to relax. Thanks for sharing the beautiful cat pics. I’ve been a cat lover and owner for many years now and they never cease to fascinate me.
Our present cat is named Jackie.
We had a Jackie a few years ago, Stamperdad. He was an orange cat, and Jackie was short for Jack O’Lantern!
They are nice critters.
