Great sighting – you don’t often see them out in the open like that! I can’t remember the last time I saw one. Possibly a few years ago, on Amherst Island.
Ah – these are the things (and photos) that make life worthwhile!
There were actually a pair of coyotes in a field along a quiet road. When we stopped the car, one took off right away and hid in the woods along the edge of the field. That’s what this guy is looking over his shoulder at. It was interesting to see them out and about in the middle of the day.
