Common Baskettail

That’s one creature I don’t expect to see in our backyard, with no water source for a number of blocks. I love their oversized eyes.
I’ve gotten fonder of them since I started looking at them more closely, Lb, and trying to figure out who’s who. Nice to see them zooming over water, but there are surprising numbers in the woods, too.
