Oh, just beautiful! There’s nothing like a daylily. I love Dallas Star. It looks almost otherworldly.
Yes, Dallas Star is an older daylily that remains one of my favorites too, Louise.
Breathtaking! Tell me, is it normal to have some yellowing leaves in the clump? – I seem to have a lot this year, though this doesn’t seem to be affecting the blooms. Maybe the odd slightly deformed bud or two.
Thanks, Anya. Some daylilies may suffer from “Spring Sickness” when they are first starting up in the spring and the first leaves are twisted, but that generally passes. Otherwise, I don’t have much trouble with foliage. It might ba a function of really dry weather/ a water shortage, but otherwise, I don’t know what would cause it.
