It’s here! Finally, after many months of hard work and anticipation, our daughter Seabrooke received her advance copy of her new book, the Peterson Field Guide to Moths. How exciting! We, her doting parents, rushed over to take a look at the long-awaited book. It’s even more beautiful than expected! You can get a peek at the interior and read the author’s comments over at Seab’s blog, linked here. The guide is scheduled to arrive in bookstores April 17th. Congratulations, Seabrooke!
P.S. Thanks to Ellen for bringing up autographed copies. They’re available through Seab’s website, link above.
Congratulations indeed! That is a magnificent accomplishment and you must be very proud. She must be thankful too since there seem to be genetic / familial gifts she has received. It was lovely to see such a shining face on Seabrooke’s blog (and yours).
what a wonderful accomplishment! you must all be just beaming! great photo π
Hee. Many months? More like many years! π It was a pretty exciting moment!
The release date is actually April 17; it got pushed back two weeks because of printing delays. I forgot to change the date on my blog’s sidebar.
And how do we get autographed copies? π
Ah, thank you Pat. It is surely a triumphant moment for her and we are so happy to see bask in her achievement.
Thanks, Ana, It’s a cute self-portrait, isn’t it?
Seab, thanks for the correction. I’ve changed the text.
Ellen, you lucky thing! You CAN get an autographed copy! Just hop over to Seab’s site. There’s a link in the sidebar. Thanks for mentioning it…
Will do! Thanks!
i was so excited to receive my copy in the mail!
