The morning garden is very inviting. The day is brimming with the potential of youth and the early sun hasn’t achieved the blazing heat of noon. Long shadows dapple the pathways.
It’s the perfect time for a stroll with a cup of coffee in hand. Let me show you around! Ah, we’re not alone. There’s Mikey, sipping at the low water fountain set out for garden visitors.
Your garden seems like a perfect vacation to me, tho I loved your photos of the Mtn. House. What beautiful photos. LOOOOOVE your kitty!
I was just thinking this morning how beautiful the morning sun looks on my bright red bee balm – I forgive its invasive nature when I see it on a morning like this. Alas – I am always rushing for work, but luckily, the bathroom window, where I prep, overlooks the garden. Your pictures are gorgeous and Mikey is beautiful – I too leave water bowls/containers here and there, for creatures great and small.
Thank you, Gayle, the garden really is a very restful place…but a change of scenery is nice too! I’ll pass your compliment on to Mikey! He really is a handsome fellow.
Anya, we have bathroom lookouts in common. Thank goodness for weekends when you don’t have to rush for work. I’m sure with the super hot weather we’ve been having, all garden visitors appreciate water.
