Cat Dancer (Moore 1992)
Cat Dancer is so lovely – they all are, but that one is especially eye-catching for me. May I ask how you keep them all labelled/identified? Even the tallest metal stakes I can find are lost in the foliage and I can’t see what’s blooming properly. Please don’t tell me you have all memorized! LOL
Cat Dancer is a pretty one. Good name, too!
Labelling is a problem, not just for daylilies but for all the plants in the garden. With the daylilies, I just have foot-long stakes by the daylilies with names marked with supposedly permanent marker. it needs to be renewed annually, however, In the spring, I go round and locate and identify every daylily and make sure it still has a marker. Some of these I’ve had for quite a few years, and do remember where they are. Mostly just the new ones are harder to recall and it takes a few years till I have them settled in the ol’ memory bank.
Oh how lovely! what a selection of pretties you have!
