Autumn Minaret (Stout 1951)

If you can’t get enough of gardens, a great jumping-off point for tours is Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day, hosted by Carol over at May Dreams Gardens. There are links to a plethora of interesting garden blogs where you can check out what’s blooming in many different regions. I took a walk around my garden this morning to see what was in bloom and offer a selection of photos here. Although the height of summer bloom is past, there is still lots to admire, including some late daylilies. Pictured above is Autumn Minaret, an old cultivar that stands over 5 feet tall.
