Winter River

Nice look at it with the snow washed off. It looks higher than the field to the right, and then there are those downed trees; is it over its banks?
The river just looks high because on a few milder days, the upper layer of snow and ice melted and flooded the surface before refreezing.
What a gorgeous photo. SO many colours, even in the ice!
