Garter Snake (Thamnophis sirtalis)
Posted in Animal life, Sunday Snapshot | Tagged Garter snake, Thamnophis sirtalis | 3 Comments
Lovely to see the garter snakes out and about. Watch for the snapping turtles coming up from the creek to lay their eggs in the warm sandy soil.
Very good shot of the snake and well done for spotting it.
Tony, I’ll look forward to seeing turtles!
Momcat, thanks. I like your name!
